Railway interests varies between modern, steam and American outlines and experience levels are also varied. All of which makes for interesting conversations. Tea, coffee and biscuits are always available on meet nights. New members are made very welcome.

The aim of the club is to improve the skills & enjoyment of individual members through railway modelling in a friendly atmosphere.

Members of all levels of skill, knowledge and experience are welcome and are encouraged to become involved with the numerous layouts and projects currently under construction.

The club has an enthusiastic junior section, in which members between the ages of 10 and 16 are currently upgrading and exhibiting their own layout. Although the juniors are responsible for the actual construction processes, there is always experienced help available should they require it.

There is a strong social side to the club with a small library and seating areas within the club room for those who just want to sit and chat.
