A team of our members has just returned from the National Exhibition Centre where our layout Mitchell Junction was shown at the National Festival of Railway Modelling.
This layout is designed to appeal to young people, who are offered the opportunity to drive trains, and was extremely popular with the target group. It is gratifying to see how well this layout has worked out and it is a real testament to the members who have designed and built it.
