Charity Model Railway Exhibition

We are exhibiting at St Michael’s Church, Langtoft, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust and in memory of young lad called Jamie on Saturday 24th January, 10am until 4pm in collaboration with Jamie’s Quest charity.

On Saturday the 24thJan Model Railway clubs from Market Deeping, Sleaford, March and District, the NG34 Society and Individual layouts will hold a special charity fundraising exhibition for the Teenage Cancer Trust and Jamie’s Quest. Jamie was a local fifteen-year-old boy who contacted a very rare form of cancer. He required extensive and expensive treatment not currently available in the UK and had to travel to Germany. Sadly, despite all the efforts Jamie did not make it and passed away at the end of November.

Members of these Model Railway clubs felt compelled to give their support to Jamie’s Quest and the Teenage Cancer Trust in the best way they know possible. That is by showcasing some of the finest award-winning layouts to the public, whilst raising much needed funds for these worthwhile causes and making people aware of Teenage Cancers.

Come along and enjoy these exciting model layouts, modelling demonstrations, then sit and have a cup of tea, coffee and a cake.
